From passion to my own business. My name is Femke Elshove. Originally a florist, and after working in a garden center for 12 years, I was ready for a new challenge. But I didn't know exactly what I wanted yet… until I decided to do what my heart had always desired: start my own business. Since April 2026, I have been giving concrete form to this.
The name of my company, Bloomshove, reveals something about me: Blooms refers to my love for flowers, something I have always worked with and would like to incorporate even further into my business in the future. Hove comes from my surname, Elshove, and makes it completely personal.
From a young age, I have enjoyed putting together gifts and surprising people. I love taking initiative, being active, and letting myself be inspired. Sitting still isn't really my thing. I get energy from creating, organizing, and making others happy.
